CHOCOLATE CAKE - best ever vegan and gluten free cake

YOU WILL LOVE THIS CAKE. I wanted to make a decadent chocolate cake that was gluten-free, vegan, and, yes, entirely utterly sinfully chocolate. 
  But I also wanted to make it semi-homemade.
 So I bought myself Pamela's chocolate cake mix. The cake mix is gluten-free and vegan, and I added applesauce and flax eggs to the mix.
 It is made for this Super moist, decadent, and rich chocolate cake. 
  I did the same for the icing, bought simple mills icing, and mixed in melted vegan chocolate chips. Omg, You are just going to love this icing. It makes it super rich chocolatey, and the texture is soft, moist, and tender. 
  I recently made this for my friend's birthday, and my daughter's friends, who were skeptical of a vegan, gluten-free cake, devoured it.

Ingredients

1 bag of Pamela's Chocolate Cake Mix

1 /3  cup applesauce

1/4 cup oil

1 cup oat milk

1 flax egg ( 1 tb spoon flax egg with 1/3 cup water )

 

 

Directions

 

1 -Mix ingredients with a whisk and pour equally in a Bake in greased 8 inch round at 350° for 22- 25 minutes. 

 

2 -The cake should be firm to the touch before removing from the oven.

 

 Frosting::

1 - I/2 can simple mills icing on room temperature 

 

2 - 12 oz bag of vegan chocolate chips melted in a pan on low heat 

 

3 -Mix the two ingredients and frost the cake and decorate to your liking. You can top the cake with any fruit !! Enjoy
